I'll just wait here

Met my good work friend who is off work with a chronic illness this morning. We try and go every couple of weeks if she's up to it. Today her lovely dog joined us. He has a favourite field and was adamant we should go in it. It wasn't our plan so he made his feelings known by refusing to move for a while. It was a grey damp walk but I enjoyed it. 
Hair appointment later on after a couple of work meetings. 
Good news that eldest's boyfriend is out of hospital today after two weeks. Started treatment and just pleased to be at his mum's for a few days.
