Seagulls

It has been 32 degrees (90 F) today so I didn’t want to stay out long. Two seagulls allowed me to get close enough for fairly clear photos from my iPad. I read that the brighter red the beak is the older the seagull so it seems we have  a bit of an age gap between these two.

Seagulls are common around the word but the Silver gulls are native to Australia. Silver gulls nest on or near the ground in rock, sand, grass and shrubs and in other sites such as jetties, boats and buildings.

These gulls were at a water fun park and hoping for chips from the many people around. Sadly a potentially fatal diet for them.

More of the location in the extra with a stranded pair of shoes.
