My topsy-turvy life

Pauline

We had a big retirement bash at work today for Pauline who's retiring after 45 years(!) in Pathology at Wrexham. There were a couple of nice speeches, plenty of food, lots of old faces (even if I'd never met most of them) with lots of catching up and even some -non alcoholic- prosecco.
I'm sure we'll see her again after her trip to Australia, but just for social visits.

I do think that it's bad on the Health Board that they do nothing to recognise this kind of service, somebody who has worked their entire working life in the same place and not even a thank you.
