primrose

I did a lot of housework this morning in preparation for our visitors, but by lunchtime I'd had enough and the sun was out, so I took Jess for a walk up Steilston Hill. I came home to find Joe hoovering the stairs, a job I really don't enjoy doing :-) He carried on hoovering and somehow managed to do 10,000 steps and work up a sweat without ever going outside! We did go out later on to look at the snowdrops, and I noticed this shy wee primrose blooming ivy a north-facing wall. You can eat the flowers and the leaves (a good source of vitamin C, I'm told) but I'm going to leave this one well alone...
