Train before sunrise

This morning Mrs AMK was planning to catch the 8 am train to Edinburgh then onward to Glasgow to meet friends for lunch followed by the “Strictly “ show.

Fortunately yours truly suggested she should just recheck the train was on time - shock however to discover it was cancelled and also the next one due to a fault on the track crossing the Forth Rail Bridge. Thankfully the 7.35 was still running so it was a quick dash to the station and the blip was taken as the train left 10 minutes before sunrise . It apparently crossed the bridge very slowly and I got a text to report it was safely on the other side ! 

Just over 12 hours later I collected her at the station after an excellent day out - engineers had fixed the fault late afternoon and a very long train brought her and hordes of jubilant Scottish rugby fans back after the match at Murrayfield.
