Ludlow

I took my friend to visit Ludlow today and was staggered when she said she had never been before. She has been visiting me in Shrewsbury for over 30 years. How have we never been there?
She was enchanted by all the old black and white buildings, the unique shops, art gallery, Saturday market and the castle. So much to see. We walked down to the weir to have tea and cake but the cafe was shut. On the way home we dropped into the Ludlow food market and managed to spend quite a lot of money. My friend goes home tomorrow so we headed of to Cote this evening to have a final glass of red wine, sitting outside with blankets on our knees and with the overhead heaters on. Such a lovely day.
