Brick Lane Art

We were meeting Val & Martyn to see an immersive Dali exhibition and we had time to wander Brick Lane and the food market first. We could have eaten Korean, Turkish, Mexican, Vietnamese, Hong Kong Chinese, Greek, Japanese…. And it all looked and smelled so good. The street art was bright and colourful too.

The Dali exhibition itself was small with the first few rooms being traditionally educational. The last room however was a big hall with wall to wall images being projected on all sides. Viewers sat around the edges on deck chairs and it was very calming / mesmerising. .

We finished the evening eating at SushiSamba in Covent Garden (after cocktails in the very loud but fun Be At One). The food was a mix of Japanese and South American but Id say mostly Japanese . Absolutely delicious.
