Windy Goul Walk

Our walking group tackled 'walk 31' in the Pentland Hills book by Rab Anderson.  We set off from Carlops heading up and down the glacial mounds and through the boggy bracken.  Then scrambled up the side of the 'hanging - valley' by the waterfall to find a bit of shelter from the wind to have our packed lunch.  Post break we had more push to get to the peak of our walk from where the main blip was taken.

At the end of the route we passed through Windy Goul Farm who have Icelandic ponies.

We managed to find a bit of energy to visit Mum and Dad on the way home!
