Busy day

My cat Pickle is exhausted. She had to eat her breakfast, go outside to play, look out of the window, and then I had a lot to do in the garden. So she had to supervise, and also she ran up the very tall washing line pole twice. She gets really excited when I’m out in the garden - no idea why!

Then she needed a really long sleep in the sun. It was very sunny today but very cold, with an east wind. A friend told me the two beaches nearest to me were packed today, as it’s half term. I’m hoping they’ll be less busy on weekdays. Tourists are here but many of today’s beach walkers will be back at work.
