Here they come!

It's the perfect time of year.....the blackflies etc aren't out in full force, the snow has gone.....and the ferns are unfurling.....caught the light on these after a longish day in the studio.

I'm using a lot of the images i post here as a personal blip to my dear friend Glenn - i go for a meditative walk, take some photographs and send it to him and his wife Ali each day! in this type of situation you're a bit afraid to inundate those concerned with too much to deal with....but apparently they eagerly await their 'personal blip' and it adds a little smile to their faces! so for that reason i am happy to head out, focus on his healing and send some deep and optimistic thoughts!

He has just completed his first week of radiation and chemo.....i'm sure he's pretty exhausted.

The initial shock has abated somewhat, but like most catastrophic events in one's lives, they come back to you, full force - like a fuck'n Mac truck hitting you full in the face! that's what it feels like! when i'm working, listening to a good book on cd in the studio i can give myself a break......which i believe is very healthy!
