65 steps

This swimming pool is 65 steps from my front door. It is in the Community Centre of the retirement village I live in. In the three years since I moved in I have never used it. Having a swimming pool so close would be considered by many as a great bonus but I just haven’t got there yet. 

When I had a home pool I swam laps on many occasions and had many pool parties. Maybe it is that I am not sure who is going to be in the pool when I get there. Maybe I don’t need to concern myself with whether I use the pool or not.  

Oh well maybe one day.
