A grey day

A decidedly murky day ..... the sun never put in an appearance!

We had a small bit of excitement mid morning ...... the birds all suddenly scattered ...... the Sparrowhawk was about! The garden was deserted for several hours before the birds decided to emerge from cover!

We went for our usual wander up the road this afternoon ...... there wasn't much about ..... well not that was prepared to pose for a photo anyway!

I did manage to get this Long-tailed Tit ... rather hidden by the branches but it was the best I got!
