Sandstone Bluffs

Rock scrambling and a long hike at El Malpais National Monument, Sunday hike. We were surprised to find snow.  Snow or hot sun, these bluffs never cease to leave us in a spirit of awe. Over the decades we have been here 50 times and have had it almost completely alone every time.
