Flushed

This is a (less-than-spotless) toilet with a difference. The piece of plastic that connects the handle to the flush valve broke, so you had reach inside to flush it. However, a resourceful person came up with a clever solution.

He drilled a hole in the lid and tied a plastic cable tie around the filler valve. When I asked why, he explained that it is impossible to find the right part in Gaza to replace what is broken. So, he found a way around it.

Hopefully, soon, he might find his way to a cloth and some cleaning product too!
