Six

A very murky and cold day today when wall to wall sunshine had been forecast. Apart from Bailey's walks we have stayed in the warm and I have finished reading the second book of the holidays. The latest by a favourite author, it lived up to expectations telling of the early life of the poet Charles Causley. I have taught his poem 'Timothy Winters' going right back to when I first started teaching but didn't know that much about him as a person. 

And good news from the vets this morning with a negative test result for Cushing's Disease for Bailey. So, just the diabetes to contend with and we've got our next appointment tomorrow so we shall see then how he is doing on that front.
