Road closed and power cut

The boys managed most of their swimming carnival before the rain came. I am so proud of them. They both managed to swim 50 metres - a great achievement for them both - I had told them when I was their age they started the next race before I had finished but that didn’t matter. They listened and did it.
We collect them from school and discover their road is closed. A tree had fallen on a Mercedes. Then the power went off. I was drenched.
