Chicken Tandoori

If you have come from the UK to NZ i bet you miss your UK curries. any time you speak to ex pats its the one thing we all agree on, fantastic country but sh*t Indian curries.
We have worked out that the curries we love from Glasgow are usually from the Punjabi region and lo and behold Gulf Harbours first Indian restaurant turned out to be Punjabi (the Chicken Punjabi is to die for)
We have had our eye on our own Tandoori for ages and today we got the one we had wanted in Green Lane. I don't think they had been selling very well as the Kiwis aren't really big Indian fans so we got it pretty cheap.

This is our first attempt attempt, need a bit more charcoal so tonight the chicken is cooking a bit slower, if you have any marinade recipes they would be much appreciated.

An update on the boat show today....bloody brilliant, it was massive compared to anything we have attended in the South Island, we made the comment of why didn't we move here years ago. Hopefully tomorrow they will call us to tell us we have won the boat :-)
