A Village Wall

I did a bit of walking around the village today. I had a meeting at the rectory this morning then a funeral this afternoon followed by the funeral tea in the village hall. A lot of talking and reminiscing and planning

I did a bit too much and came home limping. Thankfully, this morning I was given an appointment to discuss my knee next month.

I saw this lichen on a wall as I walked home. Some of it grows less than 1mm a year so it will have been here in the village even longer than the 45 years I've been here!
