Grasmere reflections

I had intended to walk Lingmoor Fell from Elterwater today, but as I drove over Dunmail Raise, the weather turned ever more hazy and murky. So I parked round the back of Grasmere and walked round Grasmere and Rydal Water.

A fabulous day - lovely reflections. The stone in this shot was so close, I had to shoot the picture as a focus stack of two pictures. More shots on Flickr & Instagram.

Cooked Deb a lovely Duck breast with Dauphinoise potatoes for a Valentines dinner, and you'll see from my extra, that I managed to find a couple of heart shaped extras for Valentines day (which I try to do every year, and yes, they are both straight shots with no PS trickery).
