Sun arise early in the morning ..........

Nine hours to spend at Stockholm airport, a piece of time with nothing required except to be .
We rose at 4 am , were en route to the airport before 5 am , air borne by 6 am and by 7am had watched dawn break and the sun rise, watching from across the grey flocked clouds, such glory to behold so early in the day .

Yesterday was spent packing up and then soaking up the ambience and the beauty of the landscape. One last walk along the disused railway . One last tramp across the frozen lake , where we had earlier watched a small group of deer gathered together. One last delicious home cooked meal together.
As we headed back to the Red House for one last sleep we were treated to a display of The Northern Lights , our first of the holiday . One of the weather gods was  out with a giant paintbrush painting huge milky stripes across the midnight blue of the sky. Stripes that glowed and faded in and out like paint drying in one place quickly replaced by a milky stripe in another. We stood in our pyjamas to watch , unable to tear ourselves away .

So grateful for ,
This feast of a holiday ,
Our lovely hosts leaving their warm beds ,so early ,to drive us to the airport,
For the nourishment and nurture we have received while we have been in Botsle

Thank you dear blippers for all your thoughtful comments , stars and hearts .
It feels like we have been on a three week Blip Meet !
