Scottish Deer Centre

Many species of deer, some quite tame others preferring to keep their distance.  These two lovely ladies belong to the herd of Axis Deer.
According to the info Axis Deer are regarded as the most beautiful deer in the world and are one of few species to have a permanently spotted coat.

The extra is one of the two otters who were happily refurbishing their den with fresh moss and straw which they carried carefully till they reached the den entrance and then in the twinkling of an eye they had disappeared.

The Deer Centre, near Cupar, is a great place to spend a few hours.
