Another Job

Done.

We've managed to have our horrible old sapele veneer doors changed, a big achievement.  Considering our house was built in 1985 there was quite a variety of sizes and I despaired of finding one style to fit all the apertures.  But an energetic joiner in the village found a style, on offer and in stock.  He then proceeded (expertly and efficiently) to replace eleven doors in two days, leaving me to apply two coats of Osmo oil ("3033 Raw") and fit the robe hooks, an example of which you see here.

That is a great relief; there is another chap who has done excellent work and who lives in the village, but pinning him down to a date, then getting him to stick to it, has been impossible.  A great relief . . .
