Alongside the snowdrops

Schools' half-term holiday is always the week when Easton Walled Gardens reopen with a special focus on snowdrops. Today I accompanied my daughter and grandchildren to view them in all their magnificence. See my Extras for a cascade trickling downhill and looking like real snow, snowdrops around a mole hill, and snowdrops close up and distant.

My main blip has pushed the gorgeous snowdrops into Extras as I fell in love with these tiny, intricately patterned mini-irises. Mrs B and I each came home with a pot or two of these to enhance our garden's springtime flowers, this year and, we hope, for many years to come.

Thanks to Anni (BikerBear) for hosting Flower Friday.
