A busy day!

We originally planned to get up early and go to the beach before it got too hot but none of us wanted to get out of bed - we eventually got up at 10 and just made it to breakfast before it finished.

We went to Dubai mall eventually and went to the aquarium and underwater zoo. Henry loved it, particularly the penguins, otters, puffer fish and sharks. Neil is very proud that Henry can identify sharks and puffer fish and say shark and puffer! He was worn out and fell asleep in the push chair which is almost unheard off and it gave Neil and I the chance to sit down and have a drink.

It had cooled down a lot by the time we got back to the hotel so we went down to the beach. It was Henry's first time on the beach and he was totally freaked out by walking on sand to start with which surprised me as he loves playing with sand at home. The sea is warm and crystal clear, I can't wait to get to the Maldives now!

The other picture is Henry playing with the room phone after I had ordered room service - we treated ourselves as we've got to be picked up at 4.30am tomorrow. Not looking forward to tomorrow but we should be there by 3.30pm.
