A bit late, mate

A close up of flowers from the native tree Ceratopetalum apetalum, or Christmas Bush as it's commonly known. It usually flowers earlier than this - hence its name - but, as the kind neighbour who gave it to us said, this 'summer' so much in the garden has been out of sync.
