Twitching

Spotted this little bird rooting about in the undergrowth while out walking today. According to my 'Ladybird Book of British Wildlife', it may well be a young female redstart, but this would be unusual as far north as Scotland.

I can't keep up this deception. It rained cats and dogs all day, so this is an indoor shot with our faded Christmas robin decoration acting as a stand in. Mission accomplished without a soaking.
