Cleaning the lines

The tram has not been running along Princes Street out to York Place for the last week, while the power connection work was being done. Came across two people with long iron bars cleaning out the mud and stones which have washed into the lines on the slope down from St Andrews Square, which would normally be cleaned and crushed by the trams. Blip taken a little later, when the tools were a back pack blower and a big brush ..

A cold wet day, all day. Another short walk in the mid afternoon around a couple of long blocks.
