Doing Its Job

A new drainage ditch has appeared in an attempt to divert water away from the main path of the burnside walk. It was very much needed today as it has rained non-stop for the last 7 hours (and counting).
This walk is a victim of its own success in that so many people now walk along it, in any weather, creating a very muddy track especially given the amount of rain we've had this winter.
