Had a adrenaline fuelled ride round Prestwold with the Readyfield blood hounds today (following the scent of a human runner NOT fox hunting). Buddy was extremely strong and just got stronger as the ride went on! It was quite hilly and I'm not a big fan of galloping down hills but didn't really have any choice and just had to grit my teeth and go with it. (Lots of swearing!) It was a pretty wild ride- lots of people fell off. I had a few squiffy moments as well but stayed on board thankfully. Nothing small enough for me to jump today either ( immense steeplechase hedges!) so just lots of mad galloping! Proud of my Bud but I do need some better brakes!
