Pruning

Meant to do this yesterday but we were rained off so I read my book instead. Despite the gardening I got the book finished today. A Maggie O'Farrell, Instructions for a Heatwave. Not as amazing as either Hamnett ot The Marriage Portrait, but pretty good for a charity shop bargain. Following on from The Passenger by Ulrich Boschwitz which I finished a couple of days ago it was a much more straightforward and enjoyable read but I'm happy to recommend both of them.
