Double Walkies

We were intent on going out for brunch today, so it was a walk for Arlo up a side of the North Esk we'd not been before, which was nice but came to a dead end. I must find a way to the other paths that go further up. This is a weir that seems to have collapsed, used for Springfield Mill, where there have been lots of paper mills since 1742, even the railway came up this far.

After brunch more like late lunch, on our way home we took Arlo another walk to save going out in the dark again, and given how windy it still is, I'm glad we did that.
