Sandy bog trot

Last week we tried to get out to a tidal island in the North Ford but were beaten by the sea. Today we did get out there although were this time were almost beaten by the mud that wanted to take our footwear.
This would have been part of the old ford crossing between North Uist and Benbecula - glad there is now a solid causeway. I keep on meaning to follow the route one day.....
