Today's the day ...................... for crocuses

As if by magic, the crocuses are all out in the park in the middle of Kirkcudbright.  There must be thousands of them - the above is only about one third of the total area.  They were looking splendid in the afternoon sun today.

It has been a good year for snowdrops this year and perhaps it will be the same for crocuses.  The extra is some of both in our garden - and although we're on a different scale(!), I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with our own modest display too .......................
