I confess to being somewhat sluggish today after about five and a half hours sleep. After midnight we were disturbed by barking dogs, two police cars in the street and concern about neighbours, fortunately this appears to have been a false alarm but left nerves slightly shredded.

I spent some time on the flopping chair with my constant companion on my lap so took a couple of photos in case I needed them. This shows the shaved fur where a blood sample was taken last week, to check her renal function. She has been on renal diet since last summer but I need to know whether her condition is stable or has deteriorated.

Just catching up on Detectorists then an early night beckons.
