Lake Windermere

We spent the morning taking the steamer up the lake from Ambleside to Bowness and back. Then drove up to Grasmere in the afternoon, explored the village and saw William Wordsworth’s grave. Spent time photographing a chaffinch in the Wordsworth daffodil memorial garden next to the churchyard. It let me stand just over a metre away and didn’t seem concerned by me at all.
