Aphrodite and the spaniel

A dull damp day when nothing much inspired me to take any photographs. In the absence of anything else, here's Abutilon 'Aphrodite' in the greenhouse and still in flower. Talking of the goddess of love and beauty, I think the spaniel is in love with the new vet. I took him for his annual check-up and vaccinations this afternoon and he behaved impeccably. He even performed the trick we taught him in lockdown - moving two metres away on the command "social distancing".
