Primrose

Apparently Shakespeare's favourite flower as he mentions it seven times in his writings.  The Primrose is also known as Fairy Cup - the Celtic Druids believed it could protect from evil spirits and summon the fairies. 

Visited a friend for coffee this morning who has recently lost her husband.
Household chores in the afternoon.  Also looked round the garden which is in much need of attention!
