Stockbridge

We had a trip to Edinburgh. Drove to the Park and Rode then jumped on the tram and off at St Andrews Square. Our brief was to purchase gift vouchers for Charlotte who is 18 on Saturday and we are attending her birthday party at her house. There aren’t really any young people’s shops in Perth apart from New Look, Next and Primark but not sure if she shops there. Her mum told us they get the bus through to the St James Centre (free bus for under 25s in Scotland) and goes to Pull and Bear, Stradivarius and Bershka! I’ve never even heard of them!! Anyway we bought two sets of gift vouchers and then we popped into the Bonnie and Wild food market place for a refreshment - nice warmed almond croissant:)

We walked to the Botanics , walked round but glasshouses are closed - then walked to The Pantry in Stockbridge for very late lunch. It was nice. Got speaking to two Spanish ladies at the next table. One was a yoga teacher and has lived here for 20 years. We like Spain so we were telling her where we have been and the one from Valencia said we’d been to more places than her ! Valencia is in my list to visit. The yoga teacher is off to Galicia at the end of this week for a yoga something or other and I said we were hopi g for a northern Spain road trip to Galicia . It was a good convo.

We headed back home and of course caught up at the traffic at the Newhouse roundabout. Home around 5:30 and it was still light!!

tonight Cameron was off to Glasgow to see a heavy rock band , slipknot I think. That would send me crazy that music.

Spoke to Morag later with some thoughts.
