Tidying the desk?

What ought to be the right description of this activity : is it parking, or mooring, or tying up, or berthing when you are describing punts? Whatever it's called, this boatman (or punter?) was preparing for tomorrow when I took this shot. A bit like tidying your desk, or as in my case, putting the stethoscope in a retrievable position, throwing away a nest of memos, then turning off the computer and the lights.

I choose this snap because I like the repetition of the shapes of the boats, the subtle light on the water, and the way the bloke is fully absorbed in his task.
