Ladstone Rock

I headed out on an 11 km run which took me over Norland Moor and up to the top of Barkisland. It's not the easiest of places to run.

The Ladstone Rock is at the top of Norland Moor. The name "Ladstone" comes from "Lladd" the Celtic word to cut or kill - it is speculated that this rock may have been used as a place where witches were thrown to their deaths in the Middle Ages.

A trip to the surgery this afternoon for a review of my medication and a discussion with the GP.
