Lace!

One of the only photos taken today!
Last night was a lovely relaxed putting the girls to bed.  Then it abruptly changed at about 4:30 when the burglar alarm went off! Considering it hadn’t been turned on it remains a mystery but all four of us were on the landing looking downstairs within seconds!

Ro delt with it and checked the house . We all went back to bed and slept till 8:30 breakfast by 10! Ro was dressed and went out for a couple of items we forgot like goats cheese for the pancakes!

We were listening to a rapper and eldest rapped out a rap they use at school:

Move your mouth, articulate,
Your tongue and teeth and lips are great,
Try it now, don’t hesitate,
Remember to articulate!

There is a much slower first part:

Stand up, shoulders down,
Back straight, smile don’t frown,
Brace your body, now breathe in,
We are ready, let’s start to sing.
Clap your hands, stomp your feet,
Click your fingers and turn around,
Reaching up and sliding down!

( with that last line the voice goes up, up, up and slides down to your boots! )

With eldest as teacher, we all had to make up a poem.  Ro is good at this!  Then we read them in parts: each line being done by different people etc. Then drawing.

The morning flew and we were making pancakes! Goats cheese and honey was eldest’s favourite ! Mine Nutella and nuts!

After lunch they went off upstairs to play with their Lego.  Then their cousin and other grandmother came up and they finally dressed!

I was ready to go for my appointment with the muscular skeletal man.  He’s charming and relieved my anxiety.  He reckons I’ve pulled  the hamstring!  I came away with a bounce to my step and a few pages of exercises!

A big thank you to B who took me there and waited for me to come out!

I was left with youngest while the men and eldest went to football.   We ate and then did some writing! She corrected mine! Missing capital letters and Billy goats Gruff could not be shortened to BbG!

We had a great time till Mum came home and picked her up!

Now I’m off to bed!
Sleep well folks!
