One life to live

Good boy! Sami got great MH-test results.

It was very early morning when I drove our guys to Kokkovuori (trap competition) and then Sami, Emma and me continued our journey to Riihimäki. Sami had MH-test there (MH = Mentalbeskrivning Hund). The purpose of the MH -test is to gather evidence of the dog's behavior in situations set out in the guidelines. Combining the test results by breed provides information about the general characteristics of specific breeds. Individual MH-test results describe the dogs' behaviour both as an individual and as compared to the typical and desired characteristics of the breed.

Sami's siblings Viima, Pihla, Toivo and Kanu also participated to the same test today. Sami was the third one to be tested and it was very exciting. If we don't mind the fact that he ran away 4 times chasing rabbits, the test went very well and I'm very pleased with the results. The judge's comments:

"Sami is very curious, social, confident, bold and active dog with high level of hunting instincts."

We were back home around 15 o'clock and we popped in to a pop up cafe that was set up by our goddaughter's school class. There were all kind of delicious cup cakes and other goods.

Later I witnessed how Finland lost to Sweden 0-2 so good bye tomorrow's finale. Now all Finns cheer for Switzerland tomorrow.

Finland's song in Eurovision song contest is super so fingers crossed that Krista Siegfrids will succeed tonight (and someone will eventually marry her).

In the picture Sami is having his evening swim in Pyhäjärvi lake.
