Finally bit the bullet and dug up all the lovely little Forget-me-nots in my garden. I hate to get rid of anything that is flowering and looking so pretty but they have taken over my garden and are smothering all my other plants. This was their last stronghold before the garden fork struck! I have been too soft in previous years and couldn't bear to get rid of them before they had finished flowering - then lack of time or inclement weather meant that they had set seed before I could do anything about it.

I'm looking after my sister's cat whilst she is away and drove over tonight on deserted roads - am I the only person not at a Eurovision party?
