Frozen orange juice

I bought marmalade oranges a few weeks ago when there were plenty in the shops but I didn’t have time to make it. Today I thawed them out ready for the alchemy of making inedibly sour fruit into something tasty for breakfast. This was a photo of them defrosting.
I’ve never done this before and it seemed to make the skins softer. Just boiling up with the sugar now.
