Soup of the Day

A lovely wander into town in the sunshine. Hinterland for their Spiced Carrot soup which was delicious.

I got this book on the Covid 19 conspiracy theories out in the library yesterday by a journalist who did a book on the 9/11 conspiracy theories. I am fascinated with CT and how batshit crazy some of them are. One of the chapters is about Trump advocating bleach as a cure (imagine people actually drunk it). Starts of in 2012 re the miners who were clearing bat faeces from a disused mine and follows each story in a proper timeline. I also didn’t realise that the young welsh guy who was living in Wuhan teaching English, who caught C19 early on and kept a diary and was 20 weeks isolated in a tiny flat on his own came back to Wales and then died with drugs in his system. He must have been so traumatised by what happened to him.

My mum is convinced there are leaves on trees she can see from her window. And her downstairs neighbour Aileen agrees with her. I told her that they are both seeing things there are NO LEAVES!! She is not convinced and says she is going to walk up there and look . OMG!!
