Sprouting

When we saw inspected the purple sprouting plants in the new year, we thought the depradation by (presumably) the fat bastards would prove terminal, as they'd completely stripped the leaves. In fact we almost grubbed them up - but I spread some netting over them more in hope than expectation. Was very pleased to see actual purple sproutings beginning to happen when I went up this morning.
