What a beauty.

The helibores I look after in various gardens are currently coming into full flower, the one pictured is obviously fully out. 

After work I ran some errands on the way to see mum, I also collected an end cap for the stair rail I put up a few weeks ago then attached it.

Whilst there she gave me the mincemeat and Christmas pudding recipes she used to use, next Christmas should be tasty! I also learned that the marmalade recipe I use originated from Mrs Jones, that will mean nothing to anyone reading this but made me smile. Mr & Mrs Jones used to live at the bottom of my grandparents garden, everyone referred to them as Mum and Pop Jones.
