Refraction

We’ve lived here for over 3 decades. For the first time I caught sight of light striking the edge of a door moulding in such a way that it refracted.

The area is behind the hall clock. It transpired that the light from the sun shining into the front room was escaping northwards above the partially open door, then bouncing off a hall mirror and then heading back south and hitting the door.

I may see the effect again but I suspect not so it makes today’s photo.

Otherwise meeting and reports for church matters and a bit of shopping.
