One year

On this day last year, Russia invaded Ukraine in its ‘special military operation’, where it expected to reach Kyiv and replace the government with its own puppet regime in days.

One year on and the war continues in Ukraine, with much loss of life on both sides.

Yesterday, the UN voted by 141 to 7 with 32 abstentions to call for Russia to immediately and unconditionally withdraw from Ukraine, a sign that the international community has not wavered in its determination to condemn Russia’s actions.

Good will always win out.
