Bullsemla

Combining two staples of Swedish fika culture, the cardamom bun and semla. Such an obvious crossover that I don’t know why I have never seen it before.

Take the top off a fika bun and convert it to a semla. It’s like driving a car with the top down, except much better because who drives with the top down in February? Nobody, that’s who.

OK, OK… but nobody in Sweden.

It was a well deserved semla. After a week of 106 km human-powered bicycle in cold, slushy February weather… a very, very well deserved semla.
